PDR....can image be shown on screen while session is recording?

PDR....can image be shown on screen while session is recording?
I have figured out how to use the PDR except for getting the image to show on the display screen while the current session is being recorded. Is it possible to do this? If possible, please give me some tips.
(I am not referring to viewing sessions previously recorded. I know the car must be stopped and in park.)

Just want to make sure the PDR is functioning as it suppose to. Not concerned about the "coolness" or any other purpose.....but thanks for for responding even though your comments are of no real value to my request.

The truth is the rear camera will be shown on the screen if you are in reverse and the front camera will be shown on the screen when 1) you've just shifted from reverse to forward or had selected the front camera from the infotainment screen. The front camera goes off if you are traveling more than 5 MPH.
