These are not in eBay. The Robson Design isn't as good in my own opinion. Yes Robson is pricy at 2500. These are a good amount less and look better actually.
Caravaggio isn't really carbon though. As far as the alcantara airbag cover and stitching, I can get that done locally in LA for rather cheap. I'll see if I want to go that route

Also, not that I care, but what do you mean when you say this.

I tried getting local upholsterers to work on the airbag cover of my upcoming GS. None of them would touch it because they didn't want to have to do anything with the liability of wrapping over an airbag cover and I ended up going with APSIS for the airbag cover.

Not sure why you would post up pics and generate interest, but be real cagey about posting how much it cost. Hate it when people play games about pricing.
Nice steering wheel BTW, goes well with your interior.

So I got this shipped back all the way from Australia. I have had this guy made steering wheels for my other car before so I know how superb they are. The leather are perforated and felt much more amazing than our cheaply stock leather steering wheel. My stock one with just under 6k miles is already aged and stressed way more than my other custom one with 40k+ miles.
This new one is even more amazing in everyway.

Nice. Looks like about four boat payments. By the way, you need to post some more photos.

was that directed at C7Jake?!
I'm basing that guess on the pricing for a fully decked out wheel from John C

...makes sense...some don't care and take their chances....I've always wondered why the gubment has never gotten involved; like make it a federal crime to modify it.

This cost me 1700 including shipping back from Australia (for steering wheel, paddles, and bezel). I bought a used C7 steering wheel from eBay for 105 for core, spent 60 bucks to ship to Australia.
To me, this is cheaper than other high quality carbon steering wheel. It is about 20% thicker than stock. Feels so beefy. The D shape up top lined up perfectly with the shape of our gauge cluster. The carbon portion on top and bottom are proportionate so the steering wheel still looks round enough. Some other offerings have the carbon too narrow on the bottom so the steering wheel felt tall because of too much leather. How you break up the leather vs carbon makes a big difference aesthetically.

Yeah this got me thinking about gluing alcantara in front of the airbag.... not the best idea.

Stunning wheel. Love it. I also bought a custom wheel for my Vette years ago. Worth every penny. Like you say you touch and see it all the time. I had my local GM dealer install it for $100.

Drove my buddy's Z51 with stock steering wheel yesterday. Reminded me on how crappy stock steering wheel is vs my custom one. The leather quality of the stock one belongs on a 20k bucks car!
