I am so bad at making a decision sometimes.

The local dealer sure is convenient, but I have a lot more confidence in the big dealers getting me the car with less hassle.

If the there were more Grand Sport M7's on dealer lots, I could easily make the decision,
I live in Westchester County where there are a lot of Chevrolet dealers, one being literally up the block from me. I took a ride to Kerbeck so that I wouldn't have to wait months and months until the other dealers had the allocation. Plus I have the GM Employee discount.

Not only does Kerbeck have the allocation, but they answer all your questions and keep you informed throughout the entire process. Take the ride to Atlantic City. I've had many friends, several who are on the forum buy from Kerbeck. You won't be sorry.

Good luck!!

You can ask customer service to check on it, but if someone orders a car from us we update it on our website a few times per week. Here's where our customers check on their orders:

I am in Putnam county and have heard nothing but good things about Kerbeck. One friend also bought from there. I guess my original thought was on saving money, but since I am getting the same price everywhere, thought I could go local.

But I think I will sleep a lot better going with Kerbeck.
And Dave has been quick to respond with many of my questions already.
Now the problem is going to Atlantic City and not loosing another grand. But assume I will not think about gambling when I am picking up my new vette.

Dave - Expect an order

Tip: ask them to put the order in as a sold unit, you might get it faster.

I have to say TommyV, you can reply to me anytime. Love your avatar. Everyone should either have a babe as their avatar or a vette. Better yet both.

Getting Grand Sport Admiral Blue M7, 2LT black interior, red calipers with Standard Pearl wheels.

My budget was 60k, went a little over. Actually it has been a long road.
Started out in the spring thinking I would get a C6, but then saw the C6 parked next to a bunch of C7's, so then figured I would try to find a used C7. Prices were ridiculous couldn't find anything around 50.
Then I decided to go new and pretty much wanted the admiral blue which was just coming out. Found a new base 2LT with Mag ride and chrome rims, which I couldnt get for less than 62k at a local dealer.
Then I realized the the Grand Sports are coming out and I love the look of the Zo6, so looked into them and they could be had for the low 60's in a 1LT, which was close to what the base was costing me with mag ride.
Wife was against me all this time and there were some arguments, but I think I made my case. Her biggest argument and reason I put it off for so long, is that we are in a condo and don't have a garage. So I need to rent one and that will be a pain and expensive in our area.
Was able to get the GM family discount from her uncle, so that helped since the Grand Sports are not discounted much.

Now I just told her that it is basically done and she started with it doesn't make sense to order now, blah blah, since I will only have a short time to drive it before winter. but she got over it and she will be the first to tell our nephews. She also bought home a 12pack of beer, which I was out of, so I can't complain about her too much.

So now the wait begins.

Sorry for the long reply, just nice to get this done.

Thanks to everyone in the forum for their advice.

Does the 2112 in your name have anything to do with Rush?

Glad to hear it!

What was MSRP on it? / What's your out-the-door price on it?

The discount comes to just a little over 10% off MSRP. I think it is a little higher off off of accessories.
You can actually go the family first web site to build it. Pick all your options and it will give you list price and the family discount.

Link below. Just need to change year to 2017 to see the grand sport option.
https://www.gmfamilyfirst.com/ip-vpp...site=emp-build

All dealers match this discount price exactly.

I appreciate your help, NYVette2112. No big discount possible for me. No GM employee/family discount available here. Your C sounds terrific!
