Default Saw my first GS tonight

Went to a local dealer to check out their inventory and they had 4 GS's in stock! 3 2 pedal versions and 1 3 pedal version. I LOVE the new GS wheels and the wide body isn't bad either. I was shocked he had 4 for sale, I assumed the factory would be building 'special order' cars for a while.
The Admiral Blue is quite different in person vs. web photos, I was surprised by that.

I really liked the GS, but I feel like it's priced a bit high. I think a leftover Z06 could be had for about the same money.

Thanks much for the eyewitness update!

I think the GSes are close to covering the Country's dealerships right now.

I think I saw an admiral blue GS sitting outside at Jake Sweeney in tri-county...nice car, but on a cloudy day it had way more purple in it than I can warm up to.

That's where I went & I thought the same thing. The AB looked darker than I expected and had more purple than the photos online show.

It probably pops nicely in the sun, but it's not always sunny here in Cincy

Saw my first one in person last Saturday at a car show in Kansas City. Admiral blue, gray interior, white stripe. Stunning car.

Local dealer has several and I am going to try to get over and take a first hand look for myself tomorrow. I agree they look good, just trying to get past the fact that the GS has the same HP as base C7. I think Chevy would have made the GS a lot more appealing with just a slight boost in power.

Default Grand Sport

The 2017 Grand Sport is a GREAT car. Much more to it than horse power. I am very, very happy with mine.

Our club just had a car show this past Sunday. There sat an Admiral Blue Stingray convertible. I watched the color shades change as the clouds obscured the sun from time to time. Admiral Blue is very changeable with silvery medium/dark blue & purple hues. The same body panel can radiate multiple color shades at the same time depending on the line/angle of sight. Definitely not a boring color.

Note to self...don't drive to Jake Sweeny and ask about trading a lightly-used 2016 Laguna Blue Stingray for an Admiral blue Grand Sport.

Too late. The pathogen has already entered you. You are infected. While you may be asymptomatic at this stage, you won't be for long.

In no time at all, the fever will set in. It will be relentless.

It will affect your vision, and what your eyes are drawn to. It will cause episodic bouts of involuntary shaking of your head side-to-side while you stammer, "No. . . No". It will affect your cognitive abilities. Even your hearing (that comment from the Mrs. that it would be a bad idea, which you might previously had heard, will fall on deaf ears).

Your sleep will be interrupted by vivid dreams. Daytime hallucinations will occur. You'll mentally write-off notions of children's education/inheritance etc. with a cold resolve similar to a predator sizing up his prey.

You may think you can resist. Such is folly. You will succumb.

I wish you best of luck. Oh, and don't forget to post pics of your new GS when you get it.

Same LT1 engine, same Z51 performance NPP exhaust tone. No different.

Three local dealerships here got the AB/red/white GS in the same week. Seems like they all figured that would be the most requested color.

Not true. GM already stated the exhaust was tuned different than the Stingray. My guess is that tune is why the GS dyno'd in that one video came in a bit higher than the Stingray.

Lol. I've been doing a pretty good job distracting myself by the much more responsible activity of boat shopping. So long as I never have to see a Corvette in Admiral Blue, my Laguna Blue should be acceptable.
