Default Goodbye to my 2015 C7 Z51 A8

Will be saying goodbye to this beauty in a couple of more days, it was a good 1 year and 10 months of fun and 19k+ miles, minus all the A8 problems I have faced.

Upgrading to a Grand Sport M7 due to issues with the A8.

That's a nice tribute considering the problems you have had. I hope the 2017 A8's don't have the same issues.

As a dedicated M7 fan, I'm glad to hear you're not giving up on the brand.

Best of luck with your new GS M7!

I have to say, until GM gets this A8 sorted, the M7 IMO is the only way to go.

OP - glad to you stuck with Corvette. They are great rigs, A8 notwithstanding.

Best of luck with the M7. I love the man-machine interface even though it is dying out.

I filed for the lemon law for my vette, GM countered with a Voluntary Trade Repurchase at MSRP towards another GM Vehicle at MSRP. So basically a trade in.

So does that mean they will try to sell it to someone else? Does a lemon law case mean they have to destroy it or can they just sell it as used without letting a new buyer know it was previously a lemon?

I just found the answer yesterday. First, they do not want to claim my car a lemon, cause if they did, I want my full refund back. This helps them claim the car as not a lemon. But it still shows up as a repurchase, so Chevy will try to fix it and auction it off or something, the buyer will be informed of the reasons why it was repurchased and will be required to sign an acknowledgement. If they can't sell it they will donate it to a high school to help teach kids or scrap it for parts.

The A8 isnt even that good when running good to begin with. Such a sub par transmission
