Default First mods on a 1lt?

I should be getting my C7 today after being out of the vette for about 7 years. What were your first mods you did on the car? I will either change out the front grill altogether, or just plastidip it black for a quick change.

I really like the carbon front splitter and side skirts under the doors for a nice appearance. What were some of your first mods that you had to do immediately?

Default first mods

Lloyds mats in footwells and trunk. gm splash guards to replace factory ones. rear apron protection that unrolls over the back end to protect spoiler and rear fascia from dings. loaded 8 gig stick with tunes for insertion in USB port. plastic covers over lower portion of door where we invariably kick when exiting car.

For me, my White 1LT with red interior was 1.) wheel exchange ;2.) tinted windows; 3.) Lloyd's floor mats with Corvette logo & Stingray script; 4.) vanity plates; 5.) cargo cover with Corvette logo; 6.) chrome wheel locks; 7.) splash guards. I'd still love to get an ECS supercharger but wifey doesn't think I "need" one.

Tint the windows, cover the visor labels (or take them off) and blackout the side/rear markers. Don't ask what is next.

  • Lloyds mats (front and rear)
  • Window tint
  • 3M or Xpel clear bra (I recommend doing the entire car.)
  • Vanity license plate
  • If not already a member, fill out and send in the card that came with your car giving you a free one year membership to the NCM
  • Buy some C7 garb from the NCM (cap, polo shirt, t-shirt, jacket, etc.)

I'm assuming your car did not come with NPP?

How would you compare your non NPP to the Corsa Sport? Is it enough of an upgrade.

I'll admit, it was a "Boy Racer" mod strictly for a more aggressive sound. 4" pipes look a whole lot better than the weeny pipes of the non-NPP. Haven't put it on a dyno so no idea of any performance gains. The neighbors immediately noticed the change.

Seems like it would be perfect for me. I just want a slight increase in sound. The Corsa Extreme might be a bit too much for me.
