If it is "never going to come off" anyway, you should have gone ahead and drilled the holes.. No matter what you say, there is a reason GM uses metal fasteners. Does not pay to cut corners on something like this.
You have to remove the rear in order to drill the mounting holes, right?
Installed one of these on my Former Stingray made by some outfit in Dallas Tx named DAR. Never ever had an issue with it after almost 2 years.
This in fact is a photo of my actual car on the Dallas Auto Restyling web page. Mine was the very first Stingray to get the self stick application. Great product. http://www.darspoilers.com/chevrolet...te%20C7%202015

Let me explain why GM bolts it on. If the CHMSL should ever need replacing the spoiler needs to be removed. It's easier for them to remove a few screws than to chisel off that 3M tape.
Thanks for posting. I have the white spoiler on mine, thinking of changing it to black. Your job looks great, and the spoiler looks fabulous. Thanks for posting up the link on where you ordered it...

I wonder how the quality compares to the GM spoiler...yours is half the cost!
I will guarantee you 110% that it's exactly like the OEM GM spoiler you will not be able to tell the difference. But, But with one major difference it has much better looking paint quality than GM puts on the C7!

Good to hear; however, yours is Black, which is probably easier to do than Race Yellow. But it does appear to be the same and looks nice.
I actually ordered 2 spoilers. I ordered the "replica" and the OEM from a local dealer to my buddies shop. They were IDENTICAL. Same material, weight, feel, mounting holes, mounting screws the whole package. The "Replica" was painted black as I ordered it. The OEM was unpainted (although, I could have ordered it painted but no returns on a painted item). The only difference between the 2 were the numbers on the bottom side of the spoiler. So, guess which one I kept ?? That's right the one that was half the price. The company stands behind their product and the warranty is life time for the paint quality, color and defects on the spoiler itself.
Now, I used 3m automotive double sided tape. I got mine from Sherwin Williams automotive supplier. You can get this stuff at most automotive shops (Autozone, Walmart, etc). Your going to need about roughly 12 feet (that's a guesstimate). You will also need some proclean, probond, masking tape, some clean rags, paper towels, 3 drinks minimum. A buddy helps too. Probably took us 2 drinks and maybe an hour and half. Probably could have cut that time in half had we just worked and not talked so much....LOL

The spoiler looks really good on the car. The tape should hold the spoiler just fine as long as the surface was prepped OK, which it sounds like it was.
