HUD problem?

HUD problem?
My heads up display keeps reverting back to the plain MPH mode every time I start up my car. Isn't supposed to stay in the same display mode that you had it in when you turn the car off?
I checked the manual under "Heads Up Display" and couldn't find any information. My car just started doing this. Is there something in the settings that control HUD?

You program via the setting mode.
