I had the same problem...seems my windshield was always hazy. I tried micro fiber towels and spray cleaner-no joy. The windows still looked hazy.
I waxed and polished the windshield-it looks stunning afterwards. Then, for more often use, a bit of vinegar and water applied with a spray bottle and wiped dry with a piece of wadded up newspaper.
Looks great, but it is still a pain to get the very lowest inside part of the screen, even with my long arms.
Where the windshield meets the dash it isn't fun.I believe I saw something that will reach the area but I can't remember what it was.anyway it can be A challenge.
The side door windows are the only ones that are easy to clean for me.
I think the back window is clean from the outside but as soon as the sun hits it just right, it looks terrible while looking through the rear view mirror.
Mix 1 part rubbing alchohol, with 3 parts water in a spray bottle. Spray your windows, wipe off with clean dry cloth. Streaks/haze will be gone like magic. Tried all the other after market products listed in this post. NONE work like the above.
I am struggling with trying to get the inside and outside of my windshield clean and streak free.Anyone have some suggestions on what glass cleaner to use and any tool to get down in the tight lower part..

I was directed to the aerosol can of AC-Delco window cleaner. I have never considered anything else sine. Terrific product.
I have been using Adam's glass cleaner for years. One trick with any cleaner is to keep two microfibers going. One for the gross removal of cleaner, and one dry one for the final pass. The inside film is really tough. Partly because it's hard to get the light just right to even see it.
I got this kit, this thing works really well for the wedge. I use Adams glass cleaner though, it works better than any of the others I've tried. Also, I read a tip on here to clean vertically inside and horizontally outside (or vice versa), that way you can figure out which side has streaks.
Before getting this very same tool I was unimpressed with Invisible Glass. Picked up this baby at a AutoZone or something similar and it is super fantastic. Takes of the dreaded water spots and does not streak. Use the tool followed by a little light buffing and you'll be crystal clear!
1. The cleaner really doesn't matter
2. Make sure the window is cool temperature and you are not cleaning in the sun.
3. Spray on the cleaner - rub around the windshield with one cloth and do not let it dry - make sure you dry and remove the residual with another cloth.
4. Do not let the window cleaner dry on the window - any remaining liquid needs to be wiped off with the second cloth.
Not sure if you have ever been in a cab in Tokyo, butter windows are spotless and this is the process I've witnessed over there.
