Console noise
I did a search but came up empty. My car is a 2015 Z51 3LT convertible and on the way to work this morning it started making a noise coming from inside the console kind of under the cup holder/lighter area. I thought at first maybe my keys were rattling since I put them in the cup holder but that wasn't it. it sounds kind of like a cable winding up then letting go and spinning. It was obvious at first and by the time I got to work it was much less. Never did it before, I didn't run over anything, didn't set any codes and it runs fine. Anyone run into this before?

I took it into the dealer and there was a panel loose in the passenger foot well areas somewhere that would also hit the blower motor and that was where the noise was coming from. I also had them do the air bag recall while they had it.
Glad the noise is gone.
