I can tell you from personal experience that it's quite common for people who trade in "almost new" cars to provide only one fob. It seems really dumb to me but it's a fact. There's an excellent likelihood that your car's previous owner did just that. Give your dealer a couple of days to contact the previous owner and make everything good.
BTW, I assume you bought your Stingray as a "Certified Pre-Owned" vehicle, correct? If so, know that any Certified Pre-Owned C7 Corvette automatically includes two fobs. If your dealer can't get the second fob from the previous owner, they're required to get you another one at no cost to you.

"Strange" is being kind.
When asked about CPO the salesman informed me, "We don't do CPO here." I'm telling you. I have a very long list of oddities about this place. Still under original warranty (thank goodness).

Only go to this dealership for their car show and I've passed on that the last two years. Even though you had a bad experience there, the end result was you picked up a nice looking ride.
Next time you make a long trip to Norman, just come see the Sooners play and pass on our dealerships.

Great point! Wish I had the opportunity to see the Sooners play. (Or at the very least enjoy the tailgate experience).
As mentioned, have gone back and forth on this key FOB thing. And it's been over two weeks and starting to become concerned over not receiving the title as well. Like I said, I have a list of concerns.

Bought my car out of state and I think it took like 3 or so weeks for the title to come in the mail. I'm sure the FOB issue will get resolved, it might just take a little bit of time.
Remember the survey that you can fill out and rate your experience with them (wait until you get the fob first)
Good luck.

OP, Silver is beautiful on the C7. For some strange reason, it doesn't sell well. Silver was tied with Gray as #1 on my list of color options but could only find one Z51 and had to pay $3600 more for it over Gray for less options and no CPO. IMHO they command some serious attention on the used market because there are fewer of them. Good luck with it.

Roadbike56......I too have ALWAYS been a fan of silver. Was initially drawn to blue, but the fact that blue "dirties up" so badly helped me decide. Plus, as mentioned, had the Z51 and 3LT package I was in search of.

Congrats on getting your C7. With only 260 miles on it, you basically got a brand new car.

i would stay away from them too then, because they don't seem to know what they're talking about.

Nope, the 500 mile 'break-in' oil change is a warranty item, it must be done to validate your warranty! For the dealerships to not know this years into the Stingray Z51/Z06 (dry sump) production is absurd. I don't have any documentation to show you, but if you need/want it, you can always PM Chevy Customer Service for that.

Call around to dealers and ask "do you have a certified corvette technician" if they don't go on to the next dealer, if they do make an appointment. here is the GM Bulletin # for the 500mile oil change
#G-0000205212. I had to give that # to the dealer in W Virginia on my way home to NY from Museum delivery.

Per suggestions am in this am for my 500 mile oil change (even though I'm over by more than a few hundred miles).
Am a big fan of being educated. This morning, while in the waiting room, service manager tells customer his Vette has approximately 15% alcohol in his fuel. Apparently 10% is the max. Not sure what issues he was having. Nonetheless conversation steers (no pun intended) to where does he purchase his gas. I guess different stations have different "tiers" of gasoline. This customer was filling up at the local MAVERICK (out here in the west). No more! Service manager says a safe bet is Shell or Chevron. Lesson learned.

I know what you mean about the dealership. It sucks the previous dealership was sold to them..... I'm also having an issue with a 2nd FOB not being found. But, my dealership (John Holt) is taking care of getting me the second one.

It seems like there should be some way to find out the previous owner's name. Maybe DMV? Wouldn't that be public records? Maybe Carfax? Just thinking out loud because it would get done a lot faster if you could contact the person versus waiting for the dealer to do it. Oh, maybe you could offer your salesman a "reward" if he got that fob for you...
Just a thought,

Congrats on your new baby, it's a beauty. Hope you get the 2nd FOB thing straightened out. If they give you any guff contact our GM Rep on the forum here. They may be of some help.
Also, I stick with Shell if at all possible. If not, I look for a "top tier" gas. What sucks about Shell in my area is their 93 octane is usually 20 - 30 cents higher than the other top tier stations. But I suck it up, and fill it up.
