Have been biding my time since I sold my 2012 Grand Sport. Have been searching online and didn't really intend on buying this, but did. Stopped in the dealership to look at a 2011 GS. And while test driving wife found this on the showroom floor (used 2015 Z51 3LT with 260 miles). One thing led to another and........Have been interested in the Z51's for some time. Plenty of "bells and whistles" here to play with.
At this time I am greatly enjoying the car, BUT I definitely would NOT recommend this particular dealership in Norman, OK (David Stanley Chevrolet). I would give particulars, but the list is rather long. I will, however, give two. First, I was only given one key FOB. Second, I found it very, very strange no one, and I mean, NO ONE handed me a business card as we left the lot.

Reason: Grammar
Sorry about your experience, honestly i wouldn't step into that Dealership if you paid me too. I won't get into why either but let's just say i dealt with one of their other dealerships years ago and learned my lesson. They are well known crooks and very very pushy, i will leave it at that.
Best of luck with your new car! Maybe it's one of HARVEY T. GLUCK's many previous garage queens
Seriously though the Z51 is due for its 500 mile oil change, whether you bring it to a dealer (for free, and MOBIL 1 ONLY, 9 quarts, give you the 10th to fill as needed, AND Corvette Tech ONLY touches the car) or you do it yourself.
Beautiful car, enjoy!
Good advice above by Mike. BTW, isn't odd how some dealerships just go on, year after year, and never really know how to treat customers? Amazing. Someone must be doing something right.
Oddly enough I have asked two GM techs about the aforementioned 500-mile oil change and neither recommended it. My local Chevy guy (just had the car in last week - needed two software updates) said not until I'm at 29%.
As important and expensive as key fobs are, I'm surprised you bought the car with just one. Did they offer an explanation for not having all the original keys?

Honestly didn't know there was just one until we are out the door. Salesman says he will need to "check with previous owner again." Have been on the phone a couple of times with dealership about this issue in particular.
My friend picked up a used Mazda from a pretty high end used car lot a few months ago. They didn't realize they only had one key fob until they were half way home. Took them a couple months to get it.
Dealer kept saying it was in the mail and would never provide a tracking #.
Must be a way for a dealer to make some extra money if they can sell the second fob.

and if the original owner doesn't come through, than it's on the dealership to do the right thing. Heck, I'm sure you paid good money for that car. A FOB replacement to the dealer is pocket change.
Congrats on the car. Awesome ride and with miles that low, I'm sure it couldn't be told from new. Best of luck with it.
