I greatly appreciate ALL the great responses.

I must confess. I was OUT THE DOOR at this dealership. No deal for me here. Don't get me wrong. Loved the car. But could not come to terms on an amicable price. Oh, well. However, as we our up the road; maybe 10 minutes this voice says, "I really, really want that car!" And it wasn't me. It was the wife. God love her. (and so do I)

So here is the list of issues I've encounter since my purchase (in no particular order). Some , maybe I should have known better, others, I'm simply at a loss. But we want what we want and will at times overlook some shortcomings.

-No business cards issued by the salesman, sales mgr., or service mgr. Have NEVER encounter anything like this before. Once home (car was purchased in OK, and I live in Southern, UT) I did find the customer relations mgr's card. I have been in frequent contact with her concerning the key FOB. She seems to be putting forth some effort on my behalf.
-Car not listed as CPO. Why? "We don't do that here." Red flag????
-I verbally committed to purchase the car late on a Thursday evening. I told the sales mgr. over the phone I could come back and do paperwork then, but preferred the morning. I gave him a half hour wind upon which we would return. Upon returning in the am no paperwork ready. And I'm not talking 7:30, I was there at 9:30.
-Car not detailed upon delivery. Why? "Thought you were in a hurry. You can wait if you'd like."
-After a couple of hours down the road I find a DISCLOSURE form in the glove box stating it was "used for technician training purposes." Seriously! Talk about being misled. I distinctly remember the salesman telling us, "I believe previous OWNER just couldn't make the payments."
-At some point car develops a cracked fuel pump. Did we leave the dealership with it in this condition. Possibly. Roll into dealership and am told they are on backorder across the country.
-After the fuel pump issue I text salesman. He does respond and speaks with the wife. Haven't heard from him since. However, he did send me the car cover. Thanks.
-No 2nd key FOB.
-After car is repaired and returning home infotainment screen freezes while running navigation app. It also freezes while running weather app. What??
-"Rear Axle System Off" message periodically appears on DIC.
(once back in UT local dealership performs two software updates dealing with the previous two issues) Why are these not taken care of prior to delivery?
-Most recent issue deals with title to the car. "We can't seem to find your paperwork."

Have spoken with GM once. Woman seemed genuinely concerned and more than willing to assist. I honestly believe may have help get the part to the Chevy dealership quicker than normal. But who knows. I have not be able to contact her since our initial conversation. It has been very frustrating. I even dropped an email to GM's corporate address. But at this point no response.

LOL - Just got a call from GM! Interesting. My CASE has been handed off to a different case worker. He seemed extremely intrigued by the DISCLOSURE FORM. "I've never heard of such a thing!"

Wow, that's quite a list. Me, I wouldn't worry about the CPO, but I would look into an extended warranty (Ken Fitchner at Denny Menholt Chev has the best prices) since the car seems to have been used for training Techs. Some of the other things are water under the bridge. But, the title things I would give them a reasonable amount of time. If there's no movement to clear up the problem, I'd start getting a little more forceful. I understand this is frustrating for you and your wife, but it can be overcome with persistence on your part. Thankfully when these things are cleared up, you won't have to deal with them again. I will say that on that perfect day, with the top down, and you better half in the co-pilot seat you will quickly forget what has transpired. I love my drop top C7. I wish you much luck

BTW, after you're through this I suggest you go to www.dealerrater.com, and let everyone know what you went through with this crappy dealer.

One more thought, are you listed as the first owner? If so, the warranty starts when you bought the car. That would be an added plus.

Wow WTF. Did they give you like 25% off MSRP to really really really want this car despite all the negative things encountered?!?!!

It could be worse, we still have to put up with his ridiculous commercials on TV every evening!

At least you have been spared having to deal with that type of misery.

This is why I love (said with tongue placed firmly placed in cheek) David Stanley Chevrolet of Norman, OK!

Just got a call from a very, very nice lady from their customer relations department. She said she had gotten a call yesterday from GM customer service. Interesting. She wanted to discuss my 2nd key FOB (or lack there of). Basically since it is a "used" vehicle they are not required to issue one. But, they would sell me one at cost. We went back and forth a bit about how I felt I was misled about this car due to the disclosure form hidden in the glove box and so forth. "It is what it is," was her response. "So it's basically a BUYER BEWARE attitude at your dealership" I asked. "You have absolutely no concern for the customer after you sell them a car?" "I'm sure GM is quite proud of your stance on this."

Her tune was a bit different after that exchange.

Unfortunately.........I have no 2nd key FOB. LOL

I wouldn't have a problem with no business card but only one FOB sucks. Seeing that it's a used car might give the dealer an out for the second one but I would hang in there and keep bugging them.

Would you have bought the car if you had seen the "disclosure" beforehand?

I would file a complaint with the BBB. It may do you nothing more than give you a little pleasure in that you caused them to be investigated. But, it will make them have to defend themselves. And who knows, there may be a new FOB in your future. Good luck.

And, maybe pass along to them that you have informed the entire forum of how you have been mislead. I think they understand what word of mouth could do to their business.

Have never been a huge fan of hindsight. However, at the very least, having known about said disclosure form would have been extremely advantageous when bargaining for price.

I thought these cars come with 2 key fobs. They should provide a 2nd one for you. 250 miles is a bit much on a "new" car. Hopefully they provided you history on the car that makes sense. Enjoy the ride.

Finally received my title yesterday. And none too soon. I have five days left on my temp tag. Interestingly enough the original owner of this car was General Motors. It was at one of their tech testing centers approximately 100 miles from where I purchased the car. New questions about me being original owner for warranty purposes. Strange stuff. Plus dealership claims they did not know where car came from (even though it was clearly stated on title).

On the positive side, I was informed I would be getting my second key FOB.

Strange indeed. At least you don't have to worry about the title and fob anymore.

You sir are a very patient, kind, and better man than I. I would have absolutely went bat **** crazy when I found this out. They knew this, and didn't care. I would be dancing on the General Managers desk until the police arrived, or they gave me an extended warranty free or at least at their cost. But, that's just me......

Congrats on getting the 2nd FOB.

Curious what Carfax would have listed for your car.

Interesting, almost sounds like a lemon law buy back that they then were testing to find the problem....

Excitedly got my key FOB from this POS dealership. Notice anything missing from the one I received (on the right)? Oh, yea.....that will only cost another $30! LOL Plus the $40 that is cost to program it. I can't help but laugh anymore.
