I'm sure it does, it has a dry sump. Suggest you read the Owner's Manual for a Z51 any year and see how to check oil level in a dry sump.
Hope we're not into, "I bought my Z51 because I liked the spoiler and wheels." Then I recall a poster saying, "I won't use a watch to check my oil!' Yep it needs the use of a watch! No big deal but be prepared for the difference.
