Hey everybody. Lost my 2006 c6 vert last February, hit by a pick up truck on 295 in south jersey. Z51 monetary red with tan top, bought brand new in 2006. I loved that car! Ready to move on, getting a 2017 grand sport, was wondering is it worth the extra money to get the 1LT or the 2LT. Thanks

Up to you ultimately but for me it was definitely worth it. I like the memory seats/steering column, upgraded stereo, heated/vented seats and the HUD. those are all things I would miss if I didn't order the 2LT

1LT is standard, 2LT is the next step up. You'll get a wide range of opinions here. Personally, I wouldn't consider a 1LT because I place a high value on the extras you get with 2LT, things like:
  • HUD
  • Memory functions
  • Heated / ventilated seats
  • Upgraded audio system
That's not to say that there's anything wrong with a 1LT or that it's not well-equipped; it's just that to me the extras in 2LT are worth the cost.

Another thing to consider is that if you go with a gray or Adrenaline Red interior the color distribution is different in 1LT vs. 2LT. With 1LT only the seats are in the secondary color; 2LT adds the color to the center console and door panels. (This is not a factor with the all Jet Black interior since the entire interior is black regardless of 1LT / 2LT / 3LT.) In addition, the Kalahari interior is not available with 1LT.

If you like gizmos, get a 2LT. The HUD is very cool, for example. If you're a purist who would get crank handles for the windows if you could, stick to a 1LT and brag that you got the cheapest model available.

Go 2LT. As said, good value for a lot of useful tech.

Gotta love the Kalahari interior. You can get a suede roof panel liner in Kalahari now on the 2017's. I'm waiting to get one from a Forum vendor for my 2014.
