Default Halltech CAI

I get a lot of good information from this site, but sometimes I question some of the Information when it's confusing. I am trying to find out if adding a CAI will void the warrenty. I'm not looking to gain a lot of HP, it's more the look I'm aiming for. Several people that I have spoken with say the CAI will not hurt my warrenty and other say it will. I am almost positive a tune is not needed, so my warrenty should be safe. Any information on this topic would be appreciated.

1. It will NOT void your warranty.

2. The only way it will "look better" is if you get the Carbon Fiber Halltech

3. You will get more horsepower.

4. No tune is needed.

One of the best ways to gain a little more HP and to get your Corvette to perform better is to install a good aftermarket CAI and aftermarket exhaust. All this can be accomplished without headers and a tune, which in the case of the C7, will void your warranty as GM doesn't want you to go in and mess with their codes.

You basically improve the breathing in (CAI) and breathing out (exhaust) which leads to improved performance. I'm planning on adding the Halltech CAI and Corsa Xtreme exhaust/x-pipe to my 2017 Z06.

^^^^ This is what I've done. I've also added a throttle body spacer, which is easily installed too.

I've considered headers, but long tube headers will require a tune, which also voids your warranty. I understand that short tube and mid-length headers will not require a tune though.
