Some initial observations
After driving my GS for a few weeks now, there are a few of things I've noticed.
- The drivetrain has a very mechanical sound to it. I used to have a Subaru BRZ, and that car was mechanical sounding, but the GS is even more. I think it's great because it lets you know exactly what's going on, but to be honest, I was hoping for something a little more quiet, lol.
- There are very minor creaks in the interior trim even when driving over smooth roads. Anyone else have this? I have the 3LT trim.
- Road noise is crazy loud! I will definitely need to buy the blockit mats to help dampen some of the noise.
- Rev match is pretty cool. I didn't realize that it matches on up shifts as well. I've been driving manuals for quite a while, but people new to manual transmissions can drive the C7 with ease.
All in all, the car is awesome!
