Adding Inside Auto-Dimming Mirror
The only feature that I would really like to have from the 2LT group is the interior auto-dimming mirror. Is it an easy add - is the wiring to the mirror the same on all 3 trim levels?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Here are the instructions I got from another forum member:
"You need a small pry tool or a very small flat head screwdriver to remove the plastic cover that is on the back of the mirror "neck". Once you carefully remove that you will see the wiring harness. Give it a gentle tug to give the wires some slack. Then disconnect the wiring harness to prepare for mirror removal. You will see two openings on either side of the mirror neck. They are small so here is where the small skinny screwdriver comes into play. You insert the screwdriver through the two holes and then twist the entire unit counterclockwise I believe like 45 degrees. Then the whole unit is free from the top of the car. If you have the new mirror already you can look at it as there should be some markings on it showing where the small screwdriver goes thru so you know you are using the right holes to perform this. Putting the new one on is just reversing the steps."
