Default Navigation default state

Everytime I try and enter an address for my destination the nav system automatically assumes West Virginia. How can I get it to default to another state? I can't seem to find that in the manual anywhere?!

Are you entering the complete address including city and state?

I am assuming what is being asked is there a way to not have to enter the state and have it default to a different one

You can use the Voice command and it will ask you for state or country.
Good Luck

The problem is when I go to enter an address the nav system defaults or suggests West Virginia as the state where the location is. So I always have to override the state and enter Virginia. Why or how West Virginia became the default I don't know.
