How is the quality for OE wheels? Is it just knock off Chinese material? I'm not dissing the wheels either I'm just starting to look myself. I have a 15 z51 suprecharged. I am scared to put a wheel of worse quality on the car than the stock Pembroke.
Some of these forged wheels I am looking at are CRAZY priced. LIke $1800 a wheel somwt ok message more. I just want wheels a little wider than the stock rims so I can run a 305/315 in the rear. I want it to fit properly/not rub/not be heavier and have a negative affect on performance. I love the look of them. What's the general feelIng on these?

So I have ordered wheels from these guys before and both sets that I ordered lasted for years. I ended up having to replace my first set because of a crater sized pot hole. The wheel bent but any wheel would have. That being said I did install the wheels today and i guess I ordered the wrong set because they didn't clear my calipers. Either I made a mistake when ordering them or they sent me the wrong ones. I wont be able to tell until Monday when they open. Kinda sucks because I had them front mouted and balanced before realizing that they dint clear my brakes. Quality is great and I doubt you'll have an issue. Just make sure to order the correct size and test fit before mounting your tires or you'll waste a lot of time and money as I did.

Damn that sucks man. Hope you get it sorted out fast. Let us know
Update: Do NOT BUY THESE WHEELS IF YOU HAVE A 2014-CURRENT.
So ive purchased wheels from this vendor before and never had an issue. I have always recommended them to anybody who asked. After installing Wheels they didn't fit. I spoke with the company this morning and they are going to make an exception even though the wheels were already mounted and take the wheels back. They have made me aware that even though all the offsets are the same they won't clear the c7's brakes. I was u see the impression that if the offsets were the same no issues would arise. I guess I was wrong. Kinda sucks cause they looked damn good when installed on the car!
So what size were they? I wonder what they DO fit?

I called them this morning as well, we talked about the z51 they offer in a 18''. Seems the thickness of the caliper is the issue, even with the same offsets. So now Im looking for some c5 z06 wheels to use as a temp drag setup
Who is the vendor. I am looking for some Z06 knock offs for my 15 Z51.
I bought these from oe wheel distributors but they don't have wheels for your car. Your best bet and what I should have done from the begging is to call bob at house lof wheels.

Which offset did you order?
I thought about a set of Z06 repros from that company and noticed a choice of different offset sizes. The site information led me to believe that they would fit my '16 Z51 but still I hesitated. I'm glad I did.
I finally decided to get a set of chrome oem factory wheels from a forum member to avoid any potential problems with fitment or quality. My car came with the silver painted wheels but I'm Old School and like the shiny chrome look. Fed Ex is supposed to deliver them tomorrow and I've already got an appointment with Discout Tire to get 'em installed.

Just an FYI, it's not always about the offset even though that can be the problem.
It has to do with the curvature of the wheel Spokes.
If they do not curve outward enough they hit the Caliper.

Another FYI:
Since you where able to get the wheels on without noticing they where hitting the caliper, they can't be hitting by very much.
If they're barely hitting the calipers, chances are, 1/4" or maybe even just 1/8" spacers would allow you to use those wheels.
If you don't mind using spacers.
Read a lot about fitment, offsets and looks, not much on weight of wheel vs stock. To me wheel weight is an important figure. I see lots of posts here concerning performance and researching tunes and CAIs and no concern over unsprung weight.
And these days most of the repro mfgs are reasonable quality. It is the weight issue because they don't have the volume to use a high pressure casting process, so the repros generally are 10-20% heavier per wheel. And if the weight doesn't bother you, I think most are good wheels.
I do have a set of OEM 13 ZR1 wheels in gloss black and my only complaint is that they are a pita to clean. Too many spokes. That is also true of the black OEM 16 Z wheels on my new Z. I much prefer the Cup wheels and may trade out if I can find a local 17 GS owner that prefers the Z wheels. All simply because the simpler design is easier to clean.

I didn't put the wheels on myself, the installers at the tire shop did. How they didn't notice is beyond me. I'm very lucky that the car was still on the lift when I noticed the issue otherwise this would have caused major damage. 2 different sized spacers doesn't work either.
