Went to buy base C7 today and now want a GS!
I went looking at a base 2017 c7 today and came across this beauty! As soon as I saw this GS today, I knew I would be settling if I bought the base c7! I wanted artic white and ready to pull the trigger on the base c7 I went to see but all of that is on hold now!
Now, I need to work on the best price for the GS! MSRP is $67,635 which has all the options I want.... to get it for $60,000 would be ideal but I am thinking more like $62,xxx from the dealer. What is a decent price that I should offer?
Btw, here is the artic white base c7 I was going to purchase

That's not an unreasonable offer to make.

I don't even know why GM continues to make narrow bodied base Vettes.

I love artic white because I bought one but I would have regretted it too if I got the base. NOTHING WRONG with the base I just prefer the wide body.
So I bought a z lol.

Yep, the Arctic White looks a lot nicer to me.
I continue to be amused by the folks who think everyone prefers the wide-body.

60k is like 10% ... you can get that for sure. don't pay 62k. if necessary go to a forum dealer and make the offer , one will take it. Guaranteed.

If you fancy the GS, and can afford it, then it's a no brainer. I learned a long time ago to get exactly what I want, within reason, as regret can be more costly.
I personally think that the wide-body C7 is one of the best looking cars ever made, but certainly respect the opinions of those who prefer the Stingray's appearance.
It nice to have choices

MSRP is 57,040, M7, black wheels, and black emblems. I was going to purchase and have the corsa extreme exhaust and x pipe installed. I love white cars but that black GS looked badass when I walked into the show room.
I do dread keeping black clean!

My last car was white, my current is black. I'm not sure which one is worse. White is great for not showing paint swirl marks, but road grime is probably perhaps more noticeable than on black.
After one 30-mile drive in my last white car, I could legibly write "wash me" on the rear fascia.

I don't blame you waiting. As stated you don't want to be driving down the road, and say I wish I would have bought the GS. Check out the prices of the forum dealers here, Criswell, MacMulkin, Coughlin, etc. You may be able to buy one, pay the shipping, and still come out cheaper. Good luck.
