Another new wheels

And you are agreeing with Gene when he says,"I feel it is important for you guys to understand that polished wheels are chrome wheels that are scuffed up"????????
So how did my wheels end up with a "perfect" finish??????

Or do his wheels just not exist? Sounds like a prominent politician in the news to me. The evidence is right in front of your eyes and you refuse to acknowledge it.
And for Mike1320, I'd suggest you be very critical of the wheels you are receiving because it sounds to me like you may be getting the wheels AlaskaPaul returned to another vendor.

In regards to polished wheels; I feel it is important for you guys to understand that polished wheels are chrome wheels that are scuffed up; thus referred to as polished.
I've never seen a polished wheel that didn't look "scratched". All polished wheels I've ever had the pleasure of viewing, no matter what the manufacturer, always seem to have a scuffing up, scratching up, brill-o pad look to them.
If this is not the desired look, then this is why you don't order polished wheels.
They look the same as any other GM polished wheel.
The vendor should inform the buyer of this "scratched appearance' before even shipping out the wheels.
..
These two pictures (I have many more) are representative of the same R86 polished aluminum wheels we're discussing here, and I had to send them back last October because they looked like crap. All four had that "brillo pad" look.
Are you saying they are supposed to look like this instead of like the wheels Walt White posted? You've got to be kidding me !

They look worse than the stupid "brillo pad" explanation that was provided above.
Certainly bad business.

I just finished watching some Seth Myers videos on that "other" Politician I had alluded to earlier. Rather unbelievable stuff. Reality is a foreign object. On that note, my suggestion can only be to follow your own advice in post #24......I know it's difficult, but there is no end in sight regarding this conversation. You can never win...........or can you?

These wheels are "brush polished" and do NOT have a mirror finish. I love them because they are NOT too blingy...because they are NOT chrome. I think they coordinate with the car beautifully.
I do not know if the two sets I inspected are more or less polished or shiny than the ones Walt received. But the set I bought is, IMO, awesome nonetheless.
I'm going with these tires...
PILOT SPORT A/S 3+ ZP
(W- OR Y-SPEED RATED)
Ultra High Performance All-Season
Rear - 20-Inch Tire P285/30ZR20 (95Y)
Front - 19-Inch Tire P245/35ZR19 (89Y)
Mine have manufactured date stamps of
Front - 10/22/14 and 10/11/14
Rear - 9/22/14 and 4/30/14
It's amazing to me that product can sit for this long before being utilized.
