The quality is fine but the side skirts have a lack of thickness that I fear may become problematic after prolonged use. I think C7 could remedy that if they added even a single layer of fiberglass under the carbon skin but they are steadfast in their product being sold as-is.

That said, you should now know why their product is more affordable than most.

FWIW, have a C7 Carbon Splitter that is fiberglass covered with carbon fiber. It is thicker than my LG Motorsport side skirts that are all carbon fiber. The side skirts are lighter and stronger. Have had them for 2 1/2 years, hit them a few times with my foot and no issues. They are riveted on and have and excellent tight fit.

That said the C7 Carbon, fiberglass covered with carbon fiber product is fine and has performed fine. Can't tell from the top that they are not 100% CF. As you say they are cheaper. I got them because of the large end plates which I like for their appearance. Both match my OEM visible CF roof, CF hood vent and real CF chrome grill strip cover.

I purchased their fiberglass front splitter for my z in fiberglass, painted carbon flash to match my z. This was my second splitter as the first splitter I bought from another vendor on the forum was not a direct OEM replacement as advertised and did not support the installation of the bottom down force tray distributer.

C7 Carbons fiber glass stage 2/3 front splitter is an awesome front splitter! When I purchased mine, the whole piece including the underside was cut from a CNC machine every angle and degree was smooth with precise cutting. The paint job was superb and far superior to the other vendors product I had to return. I highly recommend this splitter if you need a carbon flash one.

Also their customer support was great. The other vendor I returned product too had great customer service as well. Just wanted to put that out there. I will continue to buy from both vendors as they made my purchases pleasant. Love this forum.

I can't spteak for C7 Carbon, but I can say that G3's pieces arent great (fitment nor thickness) when compared to ACS parts.

ACS parts fit much better and are made with better material (or at least more of it so it's thicker). You can see the difference very clearly in person when compared side by side. Trust me, I went through a lot of headache to learn and tell you this.

I have the C7 Carbon GTX set of Carbon Fiber Front Splitter and Side Skirts. OUTSTANDING quality, fit and finish.

NO issues. I don't feel they are thin, or too light weight. Packaging was really good...... took 20 minutes to unwrap them

C7Carbon GTX Fiberglass Pre-primed side skirts installed.

Perfect fit, excellent quality. On my C7 for almost 20 months. No cracks, no reported problems, best price of any vendor for the Z06 Style side skirts, easy install, 20 minutes on each side.

I painted the pre-primed skirts as a DIY project and finish was excellent and absolutely no peeling of any kind.

I have their CF Z06 Stage 2 splitter and GTX side skirts. I'm currently waiting on my Stage 2 CF spoiler to arrive. It definitely gives the car a sportier and aggressive look, if that's even possible.

I must have had early production runs of the splitter (as well as others on the group buy). The bolt patterns did not match for many of us and we had to dremel the holes in the splitter to fit. Took hours to test fit, grind, test fit, grind. The side skirts when on no problem, I ordered those 6+ months later though.

Does anyone know why the URL for the C7 Carbon web site is not working? I tried last night for the first time and it's still out.

I emailed them and the email was returned as rejected.

It appears the website is down. Could be multiple related problems. Server problems have been mentioned.

Probably back on line by tomorrow.
