Default Rear view camera

Just noticed my rear view camera setting is no longer listed in the infotainment system. I wanted to go in and delete the guide lines. I hope when they updated the airbag info in the computer they did not remove this setting. I really don't see these two systems connected. Anyone know the secret? Just wanted to remove the guide lines. Called Chevrolet assistance but they were unable to answer my questions. Guess I will take it back to the dealer when it stops raining.....camera works fine.....

I didn't think you could remove the guidelines but why would you want to?

I have an early build 2016 and that option was never there. I seem to recall a thread about it, but I never followed up with it because I like the guide lines so it was a non-issue for me.

I just happened to be in that setting this last weekend on my 2015, and had the airbag program done on Monday. I went out to my car just now and the settings are still there.

I have a 2016 Stingray Z51, and I know of no way of removing guidelines. Not sure why one would want too! The guidelines are quite helpful.

My 2014 had the option to remove guidelines. I turned them off. Never liked them.

Care to explain the necessary menu path to get there? Also what year is your car? Like the other 2016 owner said he never seen this option and neither have I (also 2016). Not that I would use it as I too find the guidelines helpful.

On my 2017 - If I can recall .. the backup camera line controls are now on the backup camera display .. not in a menu setting.

Same here - 2016 and no option to remove guidelines

I have a 2015

Go to Settings > Rear Camera > Guidance Lines

I'll have to double check, but I think that's the path.

Nah, it's not there on the 16's. Maybe the hardware upgrade put them behind with the software when they pushed the 16's out the door. I dunno, but I sure am not making excuses for them for leaving this stuff out.
