Default Winter Storage Battery?

Unfortunately, winter is coming and so is storage for my Vette.

I need to change where I'm storing it and there won't be any power. Is there a power generator that's good for connecting to the battery trickle charger to run for 4-6 months? Thanks in advance for your help

Just charge the battery to 100%, disconnect the negative lead, You won't lose any settings and the battery will be fine when you get back.

Or take the battery out entirely and take it home put it on a maintainer.

I used to live in bowling green, Ohio and hated this time of year. Now in NC I can drive mine at least once a week during the "winter". Best thing about the move.

I'm hoping to move to the Carolinas as soon as I find a job down there.

That is what I would do too - better for the battery anyway to be inside and out of sub-freezing temps.

I moved here a year ago. One thing I can promise you. If you have skills and a good work ethic you will have NO problem finding a job.

In my present position I work from home. And so far the compensation offered has been way below my current compensation. I'd like to still work from home and at least make near what I make now. Hopefully soon

Moved to SC 30 years ago from CT, prior NE Ohio, Prior NJ! No question for my wife and I when we had to pick a place to retire-we stayed in SC. Love it!

Toured Honda in Timmonsville SC today who are adding 250 jobs expanding their ATV production for the world-lots of good jobs. Recently toured Wyman Gorden in Dillon SC where they built a new very large facility machining and heat treating jet engine and ground power turbine parts. Again good paying jobs. Boeing is continually adding jobs in the Charleston area.

Virginia Beach stays nice for most of the year. Sometimes it is really crappy in January and February but rarely so bad you cant drive some in the winter. Of course there are no plows or salt shakers so that build up of nasty stuff like they have in The Great White North.so road nasty stuff generally doesnt exist. Lived in the north a long time ago. Moved south because I didnt like winters ruining my cars. Pretty pathetic, but true.
