In fairness I really didnt look at the options on either. Now is a very good time to buy a new 16 though.

If you want a minimum equipped Vette, this one will do it; base vette with an auto trans and performance exhaust. The 17% discount is nice but make certain the vette is equipped the way you want or you'll just be buying another one in short order.

Lot's of headroom there for mod money. That will definitely check someone's box.

Sad but true. Made that mistake only once. My back needs the lumbar support missing from the 1LT/LZ package.

And I thought I got a good deal when I paid $39,000 for my new 1998 Corvette($1,000 under MSRP).

Criswell is where I bought mine. They are some good folks. Agreed with the others here, make sure the base model is what you want. I went with the base Z06 but I knew I was going to immediately mod it.

Here's the actual link to the car mentioned in the OP's initial post:

http://www.criswellcorvette.com/Vehi...-MD/2851883803

Wow, 7 responses and still no one has come back with "Keep looking, you can do better" or "Offer them $35,000 and walk away if they don't take it".

Bomnin Chevy have service and doc fees totaling nearly $1400 that are not in the price of the vehicle. Buyer beware.

Doesn't have the performance exhaust but 44k wow thanks for that one.

I would rather not go into the whole story on the forum. I will only say my experience with them was very unacceptable. It's just my opinion and only my opinion.

48k is a great price, but typically, what will be added to this price besides tax?

dealer fee of $299 (I believe) + tax and tags if local

Get it if you want it. If it were me, I'd at least hold out for a 2LT
