My 2015 has been diagnosed with the TC issue and a replacement is on order. I have a 3000 mile trip planned before the repairs can be made. Recommendations: 1) Drive another vehicle? 2) Drive in M? 3) Drive normally? Thanks
It really depends on the symptoms. If it is just the delayed shift from park after sitting for a while then drive it. If it doesn't shift properly from gear to gear when warmed up, then don't drive it.

Reason: .
I also had the shudder while in cruise and it does get worse. I asked the Corvette Tech when he replaced my TC did he see any shavings in my Transmission pan and he said no, so it will probably not damage your transmission. The shudder just made my ride not fun and aggravating.

It depends on how annoying it is when you're driving. Mine started shuddering in V4 mode, but by the time I got it fixed it was shuddering in V8 mode too. If it doesn't bother you, then drive it as it won't damage anything, just become more annoying.

My 2016 was just diagnosed with TC issues , same symptoms as your , but mine has a slight roaring sound , real faint. Tech guy said it's all caused from TC so parts are ordered should be in by Tuesday of next week . He said he had just installed a new TC on a 2016 that only had 2000 miles on it .

Like to know if that was a late 2016 or early production........
My 2016 is waiting on a new T/C with 2,500 miles on it build date 8/15. It hasn't done the delayed shifting or the shudder, but it constantly will change 200rpm or so while cruising.
It started doing it literally within the first few hundred miles of owning it.

My 2016 production date is 10/15.
Wonder if I made the cut off.
My 16 Z51 3LT with 6500 miles build date 8/15, T/C had the shudders and my brakes did too, so I took it in for recalls and they replace them but they ended up having to order me a brand new Trans from the plant. It is being put in right now. Should be ready by the weekend is what my service guy told me this morning. Its been 2 weeks but they can take as long as needed . I just want it fixed right.
I definitely saw your car being built. By a complete fluke I spent two days in BG last October 13th and 14th and took plant tours each day. On the first day I recall seeing cars starting at #8966 where they install the doors...yours would have passed by me as I watched this station for a few minutes...I missed seeing my own car by about 6 hours!
