Hi,

New to the Corvette brand and looking into possibly picking up a 2017 Grand Sport.

I noticed that some of the grand sports do not contain the Z06 style front splitter and rear spoiler. Are those part of the Z07 package, pre-production, or why do some of them appear to be missing these components?

I did a quick search and couldn't come across an answer.

Dealer probably hasn't installed them yet. They are installed during PDI. I've had my GS for 2 months and still waiting on my Stage 2 front splitter since original one was damaged. So pics of my car have no front splitter.

The bottom picture is the splitter I am waiting on. Is a $2,995 option. Includes CF side Skirts and Stage 2 rear spoiler. My GS shipped with nothing in front.

Dealer installed ground effects package in exposed carbon fiber $3995 added cost.

The GS and Z06 have the same ground effects / appearance options.
The basic one (stage 1) is the small spiltter and small spoiler with side skirts, and the top of the group, which would be the Z07 (stage 3) package that has the big wingish spoiler and front splitter with end caps. Stage 2 is the bigger spoiler and Z07 splitter without the end caps that flow into the fender arch.

If the ground effects package has to be installed by the dealer I'm very scared, really scared. I'm waiting on my car to arrive at the dealership now. I've never been impressed with the dealer's quality of workmanship so this really scares me. I have never seen such a bunch of gorillas in my life. I stopped taking my vehicles there because they are so careless. Seems like they always scratch or break something while the car is being serviced.
They do have the best prices...........
