I have seen a number of posts where they did. Here is one I just googled:
"I had my dealer I purchased the car from install mine. They charged me $45 to install it while they were fixing a rear hatch seal under warranty."
Have to ask.
It takes <10 minutes if the car is on a lift. All your doing is installing a resistor in a plug that attaches to the wires going to the computer making it think it activated the solenoid, which is disconnected.
