Lint on car after wash and dry
Per the forum, used the micro fiber towels to dry the car after a wash. Used the leaf blower so not much to dry with the towels. When I wiped the towels over some parts of the car (not all)-mainly trunk, lint from the towels came off some on the car. Weird that it didn't do this everywhere. Guessing it will blow off when I drive the car? Anyone ever have this happen? Why? Best way to deal with it?

Where are you getting your micro fiber from? Cheap ones will do that. I will only use quality South Korean towels from the rag company. It's worth the little extra money.

They were from Walmart so that certainly would define cheap. Didn't realize there were different qualities of micro fiber towels. Good to know.

I too think there's too much lint from the drying towels. And I use korean microfiber towels:

microfiber doesnt hold water anyway, use it for its clinging properties to wipe the dash with a dry cloth.
Or to clear wax as stated.

I've used them all. It's just me but why one earth spend 60-90k on a beauty like this and get your towels from Costco. Once you pick up a quality towel you'll feel the difference. Here's a little test. Hold your hand out palm up. Drag the towel across your hand slowly. If it catches your skin at all it's junk. A quality South Korean will glide over your palm like silk.

I'll PM you tonight. I forget the name of the company off the top of my head but will check when I get home. Glen E recommended the company because it's the dealer direct. No middle man so you're getting them cheap. They also have good deals on microfiber towels as well.

Streetrod, good advice. I meant to clarify a bit: I usually use them to clean the exhaust pipes and for cleaning the windows only. I actually never use them on the paint itself (I have good MF towels to dry the car after washing), but I don't have anything to take the dust off...

They make specific low nap towels for the windows as well that will not streak or leave fibers behind. And I also use their black "shop" quality ones for the pipes and general maintenance. I'm surprised Glen e hasn't chimed in as well.
