Oil change with Race Ramps
I recently got a set of Race Ramps to work on my C3. Since I have them, I thought I should change the oil on my C7 instead of paying a Corvette specialty shop. My question is whether draining the oil on Race Ramps is adequate or does the car need to be level? It is a wet sump.

Draining while on ramps is fine.

The only issue with doing it yourself is whether or not it will drive up the race ramps that your C3 can climb. The C3 doesn't have the clearance issues that modern Corvettes have.
Not sure why you would go to a Corvette Specialty Shop Vs a dealer unless the specialty shop charged less. In general I am unimpressed with Corvette Specialty Shops.

I have the gray ones from walmart and use a 2x6 before the ramp. After removing filter and draining oil I lift the back end so the car is level. I just make sure the front wheels are setting right on the ramps. Did this with my c5,c6, and now the c7.

Can you drive the C7 up the ramp forwards?
If I do get a new C7 and decide to change my own oil, could I just use a hydraulic floor jack with the four "pucks" and two sets of jack stands (so the car would be level)?
I never owned a Corvette before, but am seeking to learn as much as I can before I end up buying one. The "lowest" cars I ever had were my four Mustang GT coupes - and their clearance is much more than a 'Vette.
