RPI Designs C7 Corvette Stingray/Z06/Grand Sport NPP Mild2Wild Exhaust Controller!!!

I should have my M2W early next week, which I will immediately install on my 7MT and report back.

I have a M7, and while I use a different after-market method to override the car's decision and force the NPP valves to stay open 100% of the time (or to override the car and stay closed 100% of the time), I can tell you that there is most certainly a difference between the car's loud mode and actual loud mode.
There are RPM ranges and speed ranges where, even with the most loud of NPP settings, the NPP valves close. Using a device like M2W (or other device that allows you to override the exhaust behavior while driving) really lets one discover when the car thinks the exhaust should be closed by flipping between the modes.

For the ground connection, it's actually easier to add an additional nut (M8 X 1.25) to the long stud instead of removing the existing nut. On the 2015, and maybe some other years, the ground stud nut is not accessible with a long socket.
Also, the video shows fuse #42 being removed. That is fine for 2015-2017 but for the 2014, you will want fuse #41.
The video also showed the control box not mounted anywhere but hanging by the wires next to the fuse box. Less than ideal.

Received my M2W today from RPI, and installed it in about 30 minutes. Most of that time was consumed by fussing w/ the ground connection and tidying up the wires. The rest is very easy.
The control box itself has 3M-type, double-sided tape attached, and it mounts securely on the fender liner. RPI's included paper instructions are very clear regarding all connections and where to mount the box.
Skidplate is right that's it's much easier to add an additional M8 X 1.25 (13mm) nut to make the ground connection. The ground stud is tough to get to as the air intake box is in the way. I was able to do it with a very skinny and long 13mm socket and long extension by using the extra nut on the stud.
As far as the M2W unit itself, it's much more convenient to just use the supplied fob and have the mild or wild exhaust note in any mode and all the time, without fussing w/ the settings menu or removing and replacing the fuse.

If you have two spare Homelink buttons, you could go that route.

I only have one spare, with 2 garage doors I'd rather have programmed to the Homelink visor. If I use 2 Homelink buttons for M2W, I'll need another garage door opener box, and the M2W fob is more compact.

Thanks Foosh for the quick review. Mine came in too but I think I will wait to install. Just a quick question: If you shut off the car in "quiet mode" (whichever mode you have the car set to) does it remember the setting or does it default to full loud NPP off mode.

It will default to loud mode (fuse out).

Jon,
I'll defer to Skidplate because I don't know yet. I installed it early tonight, started the car, used the M2W fob to test it and shut it down. I haven't restarted my car since, but will confirm tomorrow.

You are absolutely correct. The M2W unit does default to loud mode on start-up no matter what your exhaust mode settings are.
I shut my car down last night in M2W loud mode w/ Tour (quiet) selected in settings. It started in loud mode today.
Before shutting down after my first trip of the day, I put the M2W in quiet mode in Tour, and on the next start-up, it was loud again.
Bottom line is you have to hit the M2W "on button" to make it quiet every time you want it quiet. Fortunately, that's exactly the way I'd hoped it would work.

No, it's just like having the fuse out all the time. The only difference is you now have the ability to put it back in while in motion.
Hmmm . . . on 2nd thought I wonder if you could power up the car without starting it, and have it start quiet? I'll have to try that.

The M2W circuit has no power prior to start. If you press and hold the ON button on the remote (or the Homelink button assigned to CLOSE) while you start the engine, the valves will switch to quiet JUST AFTER the car starts. So you may get the loud bark at startup bit will quiet down in about a second.

This would have been my first choice too. Looks like the hard-wire switch option is the only alternative. But not sure I want to thread a wire into the cockpit. But I do like the sound with 42 pulled

Installed this today - works great. I leave for work before 5AM so I like having the valves closed when I drive out of my neighborhood but it's annoying having to tap through the screens to open them once I'm on the road. This will make it a one-button process from now on. I didn't want to use my Homelink buttons for this since I use two of them for my garage doors already so I mounted the remote to the top of my phone holder where it's within easy reach.

Installed mine too. A fun tweak! Set my muffler on Stealth and bounce back and forth using my spare Homelink buttons. Liking the full open sound.
