btw, it's not "Very Confusing". You didn't mention that yours is a M7 and your descriptions do not necessarily apply to Automatics.

"Drift mode" = Clickbait

As far as indications of whether the Active Handling is stepping in, if you have the PDR when you review the videos the Active Handling icon flashes on the screen when it kicks in.

Oh that's good to know. Does it show even if it is in SPORT 1? Unfortunately I don't have PDR.

That's the parking/emergency brake light in the cluster. M7s have that too.

It does. I used Sport 1 competition mode at Spring Mountain, but don't remember seeing it pop up but I haven't re-watched those videos for awhile, but I know I have seen other videos on YouTube.

I did my first HPDE a few weeks ago, and they wanted me to run in normal Sport mode and it came on in almost every corner in my later sessions. I only felt the backend step out on me once, so I was very surprised to see how often it was kicking in.

Cool. Yeah its no fun running on track with full on. Have to at least put in SPORT 1 or Comp Mode without mag ride.

I have an HPDE next weekend with a group I have never driven with before. I am going to insist I drive in Sport 1 since I have been driving with TC & SC off on the street for the last 2 months getting prepped for the track. I don't want the car wearing out my brake pads.
