Was watching the race today, and wonder. With the aero advantage (?) of a corvette I wonder what a lap time at Talladega would be for a C7 with a flying start.
Anyone have any idea, I bet that would be fun.

I've driven my C6 GS and C7 Z51 around Talladega but have never done ***** out full laps, just high speed parade laps hitting 160 down the backstretch. But doing calculations;
At a steady 150 MPH it would take 1 minute and 3 seconds to cover the 2.66 mile oval. You'd cover a football field in 1.364 seconds.
At a steady 175 MPH it would take 53.9 seconds/lap. A football field in 1.171 seconds.
At a steady 200 MPH it would take 47 seconds/lap. A football field in 1.02 seconds.
