This thread is great...into 12 pages now and 237 and counting, responses. I think it's time to bring on the "which transmission is better" for the GS. We had a bell ringer on that subject on the Z06 side. The final answer was...."buy what you want and enjoy it". Kinda fits this thread equally well, don't cha think?

I also know you're love for speed REQUIRES you get a Z and not the GS...
Come on over and drive mine and then go drive a GS, you will see it's night and day...trust me, this is a street legal race car IMO.
OP and others....If you want the look of a Z06 and not the power, get the GS. If you truly want the most powerful Corvette get the Z06. I was set on a GS and then due to the deals got the Z06 and will never look back.

Its comical and the best part is in about a year the Z owners will be in our "shoes" when the zora hits the market.
OP, buy what you want...there really arent any bad choices when it comes to a corvette. We are all blessed!
