Default Compliment from Ford guy

So I am parked way, way out at a unbusy grocery store today. When i come out and am getting ready to put stuff in the car, a guy stops and says, "ya know, I'm a Ford guy but that car is just awesome, they are just beautiful." I will call that good.

I'm a Ford Power Stroke guy. One look at the C7 was all it took.

My soon-to-be brother in law is a Mustang guy through and through. When he sees my car he goes on and on about it...but, I feel the same way about his Saleen Mustang. When we get together it's a real mutual admiration society, LOL.

I do like any nice car. Lots of awesome cars but for me, the C7 just knocked my money loose. I have owned 4 Ford vehicles in my life, never again. Nice to look at, not so great to own.

Might have turned a Ford guy into a Chevy guy.

My brother-in-law is a ford salesman.
he has owned many Mustangs.
He is driving a C6 right now.
It's all go a nice well kept car of any brand.

I have commented (a good comment) on a Mustang to the owner while in the Corvette.

I too am a Ford guy. I had a 2014 Mustang GT Premium that I traded in on my 16 LB/Z51 Vette. No comparison. Love the Vette. Even my wife, a non-Corvette person, is starting to like it.

Ford, Chrysler, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, Honda, whatever kind of guy you are: If you complement a C7, you're a car guy. If you don't, you're just an assh*le. 95% of my ~20 vehicles (at least half of them being purchased new) were Ford or Lincoln (AZ Plan through my father), but the Corvette is in a league of it's own.

I came over from a 15 Mustang GT. I originally wanted a Gt350, but Ford dealers are ridiculous and the Gt350 interiors are OK, at best, compared to my Z51! And all of the Mustang problems are gone with my Z51! Couldn't be happier with my Vette!

I remember the day I was returning from getting my windows tinted and a very nice white Ford GT pulled up next to me and signaled me to lower my window. I did and he said, "That's one beautiful Vette". I said to him, "Your Stang is very nice too. Opps, I wasn't supposed to lower the windows for a day!" He laughed and said, "Just had your windows done huh! Good luck with your new ride." "Take care!"

It takes a lot for a Ford guy to compliment a Chevy.

My last 10 or 11 new cars (lost count!) in the past 10 years were all Ford products (many Mustangs, very last one a '14 GT Brembo). I told my long-time salesman that, if Ford didn't offer the GT350 with an automatic, I would have to go elsewhere (I'm a left leg amputee).

As you can see, I went elsewhere.
