I've got to agree that 70% is really not worth the trouble - you won't notice it. Not sure what the law in your state says, but 35-40% on the side windows and 15-18% on the back windows will look great.
The dealership tinted mine with 35% when new at the dealership. They used a 3M tint. Not sure why manufacturer doesnt tint them in production. My dermatologist suggested it for all my vehicles, which I have done.

Does not impact either. I had my windows tinted prior to putting the first mile on my car (along with Suntek/Xpel).
Here is a PDR video the day I picked the car up, on the way to dinner in Atlanta. The video is nothing special, other than me rocking out to AC/DC on I-75. There are a few other PDR videos on my channel at various times of the day, I don't think you can tell the window is really tinted at all, unless you roll the side windows down or have the top out and then see how much brighter the sun is during the middle of the day.
I went with 35% originally and found that it was way too light. Basically a waste of money IMO. Speaking of wasting money, I paid to have it removed and had 20% applied to the side windows and rear window. Much better, and not too dark to see out of. Mine is Madico film, my installer said it's quite a bit more expensive than others, but will never turn purple or fade, even after 10+ years. he's been tinting for over 30 years, so I went with his recommendation.

In Texas they check the light transmission of the tint during vehicle inspection.
Same in Mass (not that we see that much sun) and we are limited to 35%. Bought a used BMW years ago that came up from Fl, the tint was dark and beautiful - wife pulled over the first week we had it and citation issued. Also checked at yearly inspection. Going to have to wait until I sell my home so we can move South.
