Radio tone setting problem
This is not a Infotainment bashing thread. I need some advice. I do not like the way the radio handles the dynamic range of music on various XM stations. I have the base system. When I try to set the tone to cover all music it can sound good on some and like crap on others. ie: Reggae has too much bass, Classic Rock sounds too thin, Country too much treble, etc etc.
On my '08 bose system I was able to adjust the tone to sound right to me for the station I selected and when I would save the station preset, the tone settings would be saved with it. Not so on the C7. I tried and all stations revert to whatever the current tone setting is. I understand you can select a tone setting as a "favorite", but then you would have to select that favorite tone setting and then choose the channel you want to listen to.
There must be an easier way, but I don't see it. Thanks for any advice.

USB s better, but I still would like to be able to save the tone settings fro each station the way I was able to before. Beginning to think it's not possible.
