I just checked my 17 GS with 220 miles and rotors are clear. No marks.... Does yours have a grinding noise?

Did you break your brake or was it broke new?

Sorry, couldn't help it . . . shouldn't be too hard to figure out if you take the wheel off.

Maybe he just needs to break the brakes in.

JK, Looks like something is embedded in the pad and is abrading the rotors.

It's a new car so let the dealer fix it. It definitely should not be doing that.

Pull the wheel or take it back to the dealer there is something in bedded in the pad material.

Those streaks are located at the ends of the slots. Dust and debris can build up in the slots and do that. I have seen that happen on high dollar aftermarket brakes. I wouldn't worry about it. Basically a big ho hum. If you go to the dealer they may try and satisfy you but it is really a big waste of your and their time. It doesn't matter that other cars don't do it because it can happen with any car that has sloted or drilled rotors (yes, I have seen it on drilled rotors as well).

I always get that on my drilled or slotted motorcyclist brakes but not on my non slotted base Stingray rotors.
