Mode select button removal
How do you remove the mode select button located behind shifter? Does it simply pry off like temp ***** do?. Mine had gotten dirty and the middle button doesn't sprung up when depressed
thx John

Mine's been a little sticky when I depress it too. I'll be watching this thread with interest.

I've never tried to just pry it off, it looks like the console has a lip that would prevent that. The control is just screwed to the console underneath, you could pop the console up, undo the wiring plug and unscrew the control. That's easier than it sounds. I'm still not sure about the control dial though. Here's how to get under the console:

The controls not very expensive to replace either:

Good luck!

Mine is sticky too but I'm going to spray a bit of WD40 in there and see if that works.

Just curious as to what you spilled on it to make it sticky?
