Default Rear emblem alignment

Can't see to find a template. I'm worried about the lettering since it's in several segments.

How'd you guys do it?

Im swapping into black emblems

Whenever I do stuff like that I measure like 800 times and use masking tape to mark it off.

The letters should already be properly spaced on the backing tape. Measure to center and use masking tape to frame the outline, and voila.

Tip: start on one end and only peel the surface tape (covering the adhesive side) as you go...

If you're still apprehensive, you can spray a little soapy water on the surface, which will give you a little more flexibility of moving the letters around should they not be positioned exactly the way you like, however, this step really isn't necessary if measured and "framed" properly. GL.

Yeah the letters are actually the easy part as they come already laid out on the backing tape. I measured where I wanted them and marked w/ a dry erase marker and it went on perfect. When I switched over to the blacked out emblems, those were a tad trickier as they sit within a depression on the panel but if you put it on wrong, you will easily see it off centered. Test fit a couple of times as to how and where you will lay it down before peeling the backing off to actually stick it.
