Dash rattle
2014. 11,000 miles. Out of warranty. Just developed a nasty rattle in middle of dash. Any advice on how to identify it. Temptation is to fool with it, beat on it, etc. while driving. Not a safe approach.
Dealer tech quickly diagnosed loos visor mount that was vibrating.

Rattles can be tough to find.
Best advise from me...get a passenger to ride along with you who will touch, poke, prod areas of the car in an attempt to find the rattle.
An automotive stethoscope (low cost tool) can also aid in discovery.
Don't rule out under the hood or under the floor as the source.

I just fixed a dash rattle in my 2006 this last weekend. Under the dash vent/speaker grill are a couple screws that anchor the dash, those had loosened over time. Aside from one of the clip legs on the grill breaking, easy job.
