New option for 2017 Z51 Stingray - Wing Spoiler with Wickerbill (pics)
For the 2014 Stingray, an optional wing spoiler was available, and is what I had on my 2014 base Stingray. In 2017, there is a differentiation when you order the optional wing spoiler based on which car you order, base or Z51. New for 2017, the optional wing spoiler for the Z51 includes the wicker bill. The first 2017 Z51 Stingrays that I have personally seen with this option are ones I saw today while at Spring Mountain Motorsports Resort. They optioned a few of their newer cars with this setup. Here are a few pics I took of one of these cars.

Thanks for posting. Should be a popular option, but it looks tacked on... Maybe if the spoiler was black it'd look more seamless.

I like the wing spoiler, but at first glance not sold on the wickerbill looks.

Not sure that the black carbon flash wings jives with a body colored spoiler. Looks like it's added on an afterthought. Maybe they should market it as a "Grand Sport appearance package".

They kinda ruin the wing look, plus they look like something I made in my garage and riveted on. Otherwise they look great!

The interesting thing is that if you want the optional wing spoiler for your Z51 and want it without the wicker bill, you need to order it separately from the car. Otherwise, you'll wind up with this one.

Lol, it figures they'd do that instead of the smart, common sense way of being able to add them as an option.

I like it.

I think it depends on the cars color. It was a dealer installed option on my AW 2016 Z51 and I think it matches real well with the other black highlights/trim pieces. Plus it makes my car pretty rare.

Well, There is another 'After Market" add-on we will be seeing here on the CF soon... I sure the current aftermarket suppliers will be adding this C7 Wicker Bill shortly if not already!
Enjoy...
Enjoy...

Geez that looks so cheap. No thanks.

The spoiler that is subject of this thread is not new for 2017. A silver 2016 Z51 that I drove at Spring Mountain this past June had an identical rear spoiler on it as that on the 2017 Z51 pictured at the beginning of this thread. I checked my Spring Mountain photo gallery a minute ago to verify my comment.

So I bought a 2016 and was through the options list backward and forward numerous times and I'm pretty sure that all Z51's had no optional spoiler. Only the standard Z51"dam" type spoiler was available.
Actually is one of many reasons that I didn't order the Z51 package.
I'd add that to me this new addition is a pretty ugly screwed on option.

Chevrolet still has the online configurer available for the 2016 model year. You can option the Z51 with the optional wing spoiler on the configurer, but not with the wicker bill option. The 2017 model online configurer allows the wing option to be added to the Z51 but automatically adds the wicker bill to it.
