Here in central florida our temps have dropped to 40 to 50 degrees, So I used my remote start to warm up the car. Then when I get in to go I push the start button and all looks good except the AC controls so I shut the car off and restart then all is good.
The correct question is did you push the brake pedal when you got into the car and pushed the start button? Failure to do so will cause your settings (including HVAC) to not take effect. Another question is when you get into the car and push the start button without pushing the brake pedal, are you able to put the car in gear and drive? You shouldn't be able to.
Thanks Guys, I now feel like a real dummy. I guess when the car is running and I hit the start button the dash comes alive but not all of it. I just tried it with pressing the brake like I would on a normal start and all is good.
