I am looking to put after market wheels and wanted to know if putting 19X10.5 in the rears will have any damaging effect. Will an extra .5 on the rim with stock tires make the tires stick out or rub against the body?
I have 19x10.5 in the rear for my fall/winter setup and they fit perfectly. If you are purchasing aftermarket wheels be sure to deal with someone that specializes in Corvette (like a forum vendor).
The offsets on the Stingray are extreme as the hub nearly sits out flush with the body.

The maximum width for a 285/35 is 11". The tire will be a little stretched but you should not have any problems. And make sure it's the right offset.
Hey guys, Thank you so much for your input/advice. I have been into cars since a very long time, but somehow I dont know about this offset issue. Please tell me whats the maximum / minimum I can get away with and I will check with the retailer.
I am interested in wheels by TSW - Monaco
MATTE BLACK W/ GLOSS BLACK LIP.
Also, I am in Pakistan and buying the vette from Chicago, not that I am doing it for the first time, I have a C6, and just recently got a BOSS 302 HPE 700, but I dont know about this offset issue.
I will really appreciate your advice, as Marcus from Waukegan tires Chicago says it just cant work, and they dont have offset sizes etc. mentioned on the website.
Offset should be low to mid 70s in the rear. Front, low to mid 50s
Thanks. If you have the time and if offset can be explained in couple of lines, i will appreciate a short offset 101. Otherwise, thanks for the info you have given me.
