I love mine and couldn't live without it! I will say however it does take some getting used to. Especially that 5th to 4th down shift...I used to miss that shift from time to time until I got used to it. The shifter is very precise...Some will say notchy, but I like that about it. Very short confident shifts makes it a very nice upgrade from the standard. Good luck!
MGW installed. Took me about 3 hours but I really took my time and watched the video and read the MGW install in the sticky thread.
Just drove my car and everyone's anology to the shifting being similar to a bolt action rifle is spot on. The shifts are precise and going into reverse is a breeze. Overall, I would recommend the MGW shifter as finding gears is easy and i like the different bolt action shifting. The internal MGW parts are definitely better material than compared to the oem. I did go with the stock look instead of the flat stick with cue ball. Glad I did as I really like the stock look.
Check this mod off my list!
Just got mine installed this afternoon, took my time going back to the videos and install thread and watching football and drinking some beers.
Took a quick drive around the block and I agree with everyone, very precise. Well worth the money and time to install.
