Default Window tint

how much did you pay?
checked a couple places -
cheap stuff - $180

good stuff $400 in two locations (both have different tint one is rated as the top the other is a close second) the top I put on my truck

my Ford crew cab - has more windows and was a lot less than that
I understand on the C6 the back window was a pain, but the C7 is all flat windows - and not many at that

*this does not include the front - just wondering if this price is normal

Whatever you do, make sure the guy knows how the handle the little Vette logos on the back windshield. I have a little half-assed white line going through the logos. Thinking about getting it pulled off if another guy can guarantee me he can do it perfectly.

I paid $170. LLumar ATC 15%

$280 for Llumar ceramic with the visor strip, but it was the 2nd car he'd done in a year for me.

Paid 400.00 for the ceramic. Its worth it especially on that back window with the vette logo. My guy said I could do cheap tint for 280.00 or the best for 400.00.

How so? Is it easier to work with ceramic?

$225 for 3M Color Stable nano-carbon film on all but the windshield. My goal was not interior temperature control but color match to the factory. They asked me to bring it back a few days after the install and they would go over the back window again to make sure there was no lines or other areas without good contact. All looks good, no lines.

Very shortly NY. Will check window tinting during your yearly state inspection. 30% is the limit. Cars beyond that will fail inspection.

I paid $100 for my 15 vert . The guy came to my shop and put the best stuff available. Perfect job.

I have found many owners pay more because they scare the guy with how perfect it has to be.

This guy estimated it to be about a C note, i left him alone for 30 minutes, he just did the job, it it was easier than doing a Camry. In his words no reason to charge or pay more.
