so just say you got a t-1000 tuner and put a zo6 tune in a base c7 and didn't save the oem tune by accident. And now it's locked you out .Can you buy a new tuner and write over the tune or does it need to be refashed back to stock and buy new tuner to start over?
I saves it at the beginning without you. Go back and return it to stock answering the questions. The car won't start with the z06 tune anyway.
it actually starts and runs rough, just throws codes for supercharger. It's like it's unmarried now and will not let me do anything. I bought it used and the vin that it shows does not match my car

If you talk nice to the guy maybe sending a stock tune back to you is no biggy. Maybe he would like the positive press on this forum.

But where is the 20 hp? Is it at a spot between certain rpms? That's what the euro car makers try to sell you. To get the peak HP you have to wait for the turbos to boost or the cams to kick in.
Remember what Carroll Shelby said 'horsepower is for selling cars, torque is for winning races'.
