Default Air Scoops over the rear wheels Z06

Just curious....can the air scoops on the top of the back panels be installed on the Z51? I'm sure they are functional, but they look awesome.

TIA

Are you talking about the scoops on the top of the rear fenders...? If so, then yes. Many have successfully added this mod.

The lower rear brakes ducts, however, cannot be added unless you go with a wide body mod.

Thanks, guys, but forgive my ignorance, but how would this be considered a simple mod? Don't openings have to be cut on the top panels?

sTtz, that is a beautiful car!

You did not mention that you have a vert. NO they can not be added.

Not my car, I have a white Z. Just used the picture as an illustration.

I didn't realized that you have a convertible. Adding those vents would be difficult. I don't believe that I've ever seen them added to a vert. Hopefully someone else will chime in... GL.

Just to let you guys know there is no such thing as a rear fender. It's a quarter panel.

OEM bought mine through Massdrop saved a few dollars. But they are group buy specialist. It is an OEM part so parts direct or trunk monkey should be reasonable.

On a convertible those air inlets are under the car.

I would try trunkmonkey or check the for sale section, they pop up there from time to time.

Well, Vert's don't have scoops because the top mecanizum leaves no room for the air duct- but! You could add them as SMC cuts and drills like butter. Could no doubt carefully cut the hole and insert the grill. None functional but would look the same!
