Lowering methods
I've lowered my car...but now am wondering whether I even did it properly. I didn't notice any difference and have driven it for about 60 miles.
I think I'll go back and try again. The question I have is, do I even have to jack up the car or can I just place a jack underneath the transverse spring and apply pressure to that before turning the bolt?

Hi Rooster,
I believe I did. It woulnd't crank anymore. What I wasn't sure was whether the rubber stops were supposed to touch the spring...because they weren't touching the spring after cranking counter clockwise. It felt as though there was half an inch of space between leaf spring and rubber stop.

No, they shouldn't touch that's what's lowering the car. It took mine about a week to really settle after I did it. I didn't really feel much difference in driving, it's not a huge drop or anything.

Lowering
I lowered my 2016 Z51 with MRC about 6 months ago using the stock bolts. Since I measured before and after, it lowered 0.5 inch at each wheel. As others have said, need to drive to let it settle after the vehicle has been jacked up.

To answer your question about just putting a jack under the leaf spring and not jacking up the car, the answer is yes you can do it that way. The problem is that it's difficult to reach in there without the car raised or having a wheel off.
